Everything you need to know before going live on Rumble with StreamKite.
Do I need to keep my computer on while streaming to Rumble? ▲
No. StreamKite streams entirely from our cloud servers. Once you configure your Rumble slot and hit Go Live, you can close your browser, shut down your PC, and go about your day — your Rumble live stream continues 24/7 without any local hardware staying on. This is the core advantage over desktop encoders like OBS.
Where do I find my Rumble stream key? ▼
Go to rumble.com → log in → click your profile icon → Upload/Live Stream → select Live Stream. In the Live Stream setup page, select "External Software / RTMP" as the streaming method. Your Stream Key and Ingest URL will be displayed on this settings page. Click Show Key and then Copy to copy it.
What RTMP URL does Rumble use? ▼
Rumble's primary RTMP ingest URL is rtmp://rumble.com/live-stream/. However, always use the exact URL shown in your Rumble Live Stream settings — Rumble may provide a region-specific or account-specific ingest endpoint. Enter it in StreamKite's Server URL field with your stream key in the separate key field.
Does Rumble's stream key expire between sessions? ▼
No — unlike some platforms, Rumble's stream key is persistent. Once generated, it stays active for future streams until you manually reset it. This makes Rumble ideal for 24/7 streaming with StreamKite: paste your key once, and your stream runs continuously without needing to update credentials before each session.
Can I stream to Rumble and other platforms simultaneously? ▼
Yes! StreamKite lets you create multiple slots — one for Rumble, one for YouTube, one for Twitch, and so on. Each slot runs independently from our cloud servers simultaneously. You can broadcast to 5, 10, or more platforms at the same time from a single StreamKite account, each looping the same or different video files.
What's the maximum bitrate and resolution I can stream to Rumble? ▼
Rumble supports up to 10,000 kbps video bitrate and 4K (3840×2160) resolution at up to 60fps. This is one of the most generous ingest specifications of any streaming platform. StreamKite's presets cover the full Rumble quality range — from 480p at 1,000 kbps up to 4K at 10,000 kbps.
Can I monetize my 24/7 Rumble live stream with StreamKite? ▼
Yes. Rumble's monetization features — including ad revenue share, Rumble Rants (viewer tips/donations), and channel subscriptions — are fully functional for RTMP live streams delivered through StreamKite. A 24/7 stream means your monetization is active around the clock, even while you sleep.
What happens if the Rumble RTMP connection drops during a stream? ▼
StreamKite includes automatic crash recovery. If Rumble's RTMP connection drops for any reason — network issue, Rumble maintenance, anything — StreamKite detects it within seconds and automatically reconnects and resumes your stream. No action needed from you. Your stream resumes with minimal to no visible interruption for viewers.
What video formats does StreamKite accept for Rumble streaming? ▼
StreamKite accepts all major video formats: MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, FLV, TS, and more. For Rumble, we recommend H.264 MP4 at 1080p or 4K with AAC stereo audio. StreamKite automatically transcodes your file to Rumble's exact ingest requirements — no manual encoding needed.
