Who We Are

StreamKite.live ("StreamKite", "we", "us", "our") operates the live cloud streaming platform accessible at streamkite.live. We are the data controller responsible for your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

This policy applies to all users of the StreamKite website, dashboard, and streaming infrastructure, including free trial users, paying subscribers, and visitors. By using StreamKite, you consent to the data practices described here.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect payment card numbers (handled entirely by our payment processor), government IDs, real names unless voluntarily provided, or any sensitive personal information. We also do not access the content of your uploaded media files beyond what is necessary to serve them to your stream.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. Ever.

Your email address, RTMP keys, media files, and usage data are never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing platforms. We have no advertising relationships and earn revenue solely through subscription fees. Your data is yours.

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of transmission or storage is completely infallible. You are responsible for keeping your PassKey confidential and not sharing it with others. If you believe your PassKey has been compromised, contact support immediately.

Section 05
Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as is necessary to provide the service, fulfil legal obligations, or resolve disputes. The following table outlines our specific retention periods by data category.

Session only
Temporary access tokens and session identifiers cleared when you log out or your session expires.
Active subscription
Duration + 3 days
All account data, stream slots, and uploaded media retained for the full subscription period plus a 3-day grace window.
Media files
Expiry + 3 days
Uploaded video and audio files deleted within 3 days of subscription expiry or immediately upon your request via support ticket.
Email address
Up to 2 years
Retained for renewal reminders, support history, and billing records. You may request deletion at any time and we will comply within 30 days.

Transaction logs

Stream start/stop timestamps and transaction references are retained for up to 3 years for legal compliance, fraud prevention, and chargeback dispute documentation purposes. This is the minimum required for financial record keeping and cannot be reduced upon request.

Third-Party Services

We use a small, carefully selected set of third-party services to operate StreamKite. Each provider is bound by contractual data processing agreements and their own published privacy policies. We share only the minimum data each provider needs to perform their specific function.

    Payment processing — Your payment is handled entirely by our third-party payment processor (Payhip and/or others). We never see, store, or process your full card number. The processor receives only what is necessary to complete the transaction.
  • ☁️
    Cloud infrastructure — Our servers run on trusted cloud infrastructure providers. These providers store data in secure data centres and are bound by their own security and privacy certifications.
  • 📧
    Transactional email — If you provide your email, we may use a transactional email provider to send your PassKey, renewal reminders, and support replies. Your email is used solely for these communications and is not shared for marketing purposes.

No advertising or analytics platforms

StreamKite does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or behavioural tracking technology. We do not profile users for advertising purposes, and we do not participate in cross-site tracking.

Your Data Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law (including GDPR, CCPA, and equivalent legislation), you may have the following rights regarding your personal data. We honour these rights for all users regardless of jurisdiction.

Submit a support ticket with your full request, the email address associated with your account, and your PassKey (for account verification). We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours and respond fully within 30 calendar days. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on sensitive requests.

Children's Privacy

StreamKite is not directed at or intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately via our support system and we will promptly delete the relevant information.

Users who create an account or use the service represent that they are 18 years of age or older.

StreamKite uses a minimal set of cookies to operate the platform. We use essential session cookies to keep you authenticated during a dashboard session, and may use functional cookies to remember your preferences (such as compact view settings). We do not use tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics cookies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or service features. When material changes are made, we will notify you via the email address registered with your account (if applicable) and/or by posting a notice on the StreamKite website at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will always reflect when the current version was published. Your continued use of StreamKite after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
